*“Miracle of Christmas” at Sight & Sound Theater—The Miracle of Christmas showcases the true story of Christmas. The show starts with Joseph and Mary of Nazareth during their trials they go through leading up to the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. The Nazareth townspeople betray them and the Roman rule of Herod and his soldiers threaten to destroy them. The play comes to life with trained live animals that are housed on-site. You'll see beautiful horses, camels, parrots, sheep, and so much more during this amazing play. The show also employs a very extensive cast to bring the story of Mary and Joseph to life. Your heart will be touched as you see a young Mary told of her fulfilling destiny to carry the son of God. The story takes place from conception to the birth of Jesus. It's filled with beautiful period costumes throughout the entire cast as the shepherds and kings travel on camels to present gifts to Jesus. This production will really captivate you while enjoying the Biblical scene of Jesus birth brought to life in a brand-new life-changing way.
*College of the Ozarks Tour —This Christian college is known as “Hard Work U”. Their mission is to provide the advantages of a Christian college education for those who are without sufficient means to pay for such education. Each student works at the college for their room, tuition and board. *Dinner and drama at Shepherd of the Hills - A Shepherd’s Christmas Carol-
The Holiday season brings to mind the importance of preserving history and time-honored family traditions. No one understands that more than the Shepherd of the Hills. We invite you to enjoy a full course turkey dinner with pumpkin dessert while we present our version of a true Christmas classic starring your favorite characters from the story, The Shepherd of the Hills. Our tale catches up with Ollie Stewart several years after losing his sweetheart Sammy Lane to his childhood friend and rival Young Matt Matthews. Join us as Mandy Ford, Uncle Ike, and the rest of the neighborhood attempt to include Ollie in their Christmas festivities. Laugh along they try to remind an incorrigible Ollie Stewart of the magic of Christmas and the true meaning of friendship. Plenty of family friendly fun awaits you in an event that is sure to be on everyone’s Christmas list for years to come.
