A November to Remember - A Branson Christmas.
With verdant forests, rugged mountains, and vibrant sunsets, Branson is truly like an Eden on Earth. It’s no wonder then, that here in the charming enclave of Branson, Missouri the drama and wonder of God’s greatest tales are brought to life in theaters and in nature. We are so excited for our second women's retreat to Branson in November 2023! Registration is now OPEN!
Women loved our first women's retreat in November 2022 that we've again partnered with Allied Tours to offer our second women's retreat to Branson, Missouri, 'A November to Remember' - A Branson Christmas, Thursday, November 9th - Sunday, November 12th. We have a limited number of guests to keep our group small. 'A November to Remember' with The Notebook Cafe will be a great way to begin the Christmas season in your heart. Our first retreat to Branson WAS AMAZING (see a few photos in our gallery below). These wonderful women of faith became close friends that still keep in touch. We witnessed a miracle or two...shared our hearts...enjoyed meaningful devotion and prayer time with Shelly Thompson, The Notebook Cafe Publisher...dined at fabulous places like Paula Deen's Restaurant, Landon's Seafood and Grill, Smith's Family Restaurant (the best tenderloin in the WORLD)...enjoyed fabulous shows, spent time in an amazing very old small log church in the Ozark Hills that was very special...shopped at the amazing places at Branson Landing, historic downtown Branson, and 411 Vintage (the favorite). We also enjoyed the wonderful Branson Veteran's Day Parade thanking many veterans. God truly provided an unforgettable time of fellowship and meeting with Him to get our focus on Him as Christmas approached. We're SO excited to see what God has planned in 2023 for our second women's retreat!

Allied has managed to secure us very special accommodations right on BRANSON LANDING at the Branson HILTON (with thier fabulous breakfast buffet included every morning!). This allows us access to the Veteran's Day parade right outside the hotel door, and access to all the shops at Branson Landing! Sisters, get ready for...the ADVENTURE with God!

TRIP DATES
A tour bus full of Jesus Girl's will depart from Des Moines, Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 a.m. and return to Des Moines, on Sunday, November 12th around 5:00 p.m. We will be departing from the Wildwood Lodge in Clive. Last year we had women join us from Oregon, Georgia, Illinois, California, Nebraska, and Iowa. We will again be hosting a gathering at The Wildwood Lodge, the evening of Wednesday, November 8th to start to make new friendships.
PRE-NIGHT or SUNDAY NIGHT HOTEL PACKAGE:
For those driving to Des Moines on Wednesday, November 8th, or wanting to stay when we return to Des Moines on Sunday night, November 12th, we've secured group rates at the Wildwood Lodge, 11431 Forest Ave in Clive. These special low rates are per night. You can call them at 515-222-9876 for reservations.
HERE'S A SUMMARY OF WHAT WE'RE PLANNING - (things out of our control could change, but all reservations have been confirmed) -
*A three night stay at the beautiful Branson Hilton at Branson Landing (coupons to their delicious breakfast buffet will be given to each guest for the three mornings of our stay).
*Lunch at the Smith Family Restaurant - Home of the world famous tenderloin.
*Dinner at Paula Deen’s Family Restaurant at Branson Landing
*The Titanic Museum -Everyone knows the name Titanic and that it struck an iceberg and was lost. She sat at the bottom of the ocean for 75 years before they found her in 1985. A second expedition to the wreck site went out in 1986 and that expedition was co-led by the owner of this museum. The artifacts you'll see throughout the ship are REAL and valued at over $4 million dollars. You'll be able to touch a growing iceberg, experience the 28 degree water, try and steer the ship and pay tribute to the 2,208 passengers and crew that were on the Titanic. You will enter as a real guest on the original Titanic and given a passport. As you leave you'll discover more about the guest whose passport you hold. A great keepsake. This is an adventure and a truly amazing experience taking you back in history.
