Beat the January Blues and join Cindy (who was the instructor for our recent PaintNite) and me on Saturday, January 18th at 10:00 am for…’Souper’ Saturday and Soup Recipe Card Swap. We’ll be serving two amazing soups…Roast Beef Vegetable Soup, and Corn Chowder. We’re asking you to bring your favorite SOUP RECIPE on an index card. You just need to bring one card. We will then digitize those and send them to you so you have all the recipes!
Of course there's something crafty involved...we need to bring some cheer into our winter decor! We will be painting wooden spoons. The ones pictured below have a Christmas theme, but we will be offering different paint options for the spoons at our 'Souper' Saturday. We will furnish the jars and filling for the jars. When you leave, you'll have a great decor piece...hand created by you AND lots of new soup recipes to try for the cold winter months!
We'll also do a tour of the 1875 Boarding Rooms decorated in our winter theme giving you some inspiration for your own space. We'll be focusing on lighting. It's winter...the days are getting longer, so we'll offer some lighting tips to make your home feel warm and cozy at night.
