Set for Life

God, the one and only—
I’ll wait as long as he says.
Everything I need comes from him,
so why not?
He’s solid rock under my feet,
breathing room for my soul,
An impregnable castle:
I’m set for life.
Psalm 62;1,2 The Message

I love this verse..
It describes God as...the One and Only...
It describes waiting...as long as he says...
It describes my days...as set for life.

It says...He is breathing room for my soul...

A solid rock under my feet...

An impregnable castle....

Because, if my faith is placed in God...I am set for life, both the earthly days and the eternity I will one day step into.

These words from the Bible tell me to wait...and maybe wait more...and wait more...

As long as he says.

While I am waiting He will give me breathing room and solid footing....

While I am waiting He is my focus...my One and Only...

So...then...as the verse tells us...why not?

Wait patiently upon the Lord (Psalm 27:14), not losing hope (2 Chronicles 15:7), because our One and Only is with us (Joshua 1:9, with the blueprint (Joshua 29:11)...

...so we wait not for the unknown or what is unseen...but for God's perfect plan...

...as long as he says...

...we wait...

We focus on the One and Only and keep doing the next thing, until God does what He does best and brings everything together for that BUT GOD moment He has orchestrated.

Until then...enjoy the breathing room...spend time with the One and Only...

...and wait...

Because the Bible promises...if you do this...you are set for life.
