The Church Ladies are back and wearing their aprons!
Church Ladies have kind hearts, lovely stories, and make the BEST pie! Those sweet ladies in church kitchen's everywhere wore those adorable plaid, checked, and floral aprons to cover their Sunday best when they would prepare the most amazing meals for the congregation.
We may not be a congregation, but let's have a fabulous church ladies soup, salad, and pie lunch gathered around the big table in The Gathering Room. While Church Ladies would never gossip...gasp! We'll be sharing laughter, stories, and the warmth of friendship around our table.
Aprons have long been worn by these sweet Church Ladies. These women used cloth napkins and linen table cloths to serve their meals. We'll have a very special Grandma's Apron Devotion. We would LOVE it if you would bring an apron, table cloth or other linen, coffee cup, old Bible, etc. something that would have been used by the sweet church ladies, but it has a special story to you...that would be great. Because we want to hear YOUR story.
Of course, a tour of our 1875 Boarding Rooms decorated for Fall will end our time together and you'll find our VERY SPECIAL CHURCH LADY MANNEQUINS IN THIER APRONS IN OUR 1875 BOARDING ROOMS!
